I ended up taking pictures of anything and everything interesting in my apartment. Something that really intrigued me about the whole process of taking pictures of the different textures and patterns was how, by paying more attention to the thing itself, the items became a lot more...appealing. Not to say that they weren't in the first place, but when you take something that seems so ordinary and plain and really examine it (like the lines used in my rug), it's actually a lot cooler than you'd think.
